CERTIFIED & NON-CERTIFIED

It depends on the type of document and country of origin/destination.

PRINTED CERTIFIED TRANSLATION

Will you be making use of your translation in Costa Rica or abroad? Is the country of destination part of the Hague Convention? What kind of process are you trying to complete? Depending on your answers, a printed Certified Translation may be your best option.

DIGITAL CERTIFIED TRANSLATION

The best and most convenient option in the majority of cases. While printed and digital certified translations have the same force, effect and validity, limitations in the apostille and legalization process may require the use of a printed Certified Translation.

NON-CERTIFIED TRANSLATION

If you do not require your translation to comply with the Certified Translations and Interpretations Act, this is your best option. A Certified Translation is only required when the document needs to have legal effect before a private organization or government body.
